Researchers from the Software Institute at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) got three papers accepted at ESEC/FSE 2017, the 11th joint meeting of the European Software Engineering Conference and the ACM SIGSOFT Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering, that will be held in Padeborn, Germany.

ESEC/FSE is considered one of the top software engineering venues and this year accepted 72 out of the 295 submitted papers (24% acceptance rate). The three papers co-authored by members of the Software Institute are:

  • Reproducing Concurrency Failures from Crash Stacks. F. A. Bianchi, M. Pezzè, and V. Terragni.
  • Detecting Missing Information in Bug Descriptions. O. Chaparro, J. Lu, F. Zampetti, L. Moreno, M. Di Penta, A. Marcus, G. Bavota, V. Ng.
